The past 12 months have flown by! It feels like yesterday we were recapping our 2022 expo at NoVacancy, and here we are freshly inspired and talking about 2023.
NoVacancy is one of Australasia's largest accommodation expo's. Held in Sydney at the International Convention Centre, exhibitors travel from around the world to showcase anything and everything related to accommodation. Products and solutions range from food and beverage, through to property management systems, property hardware and logistics, as well as furniture and of course, technology.
We were particularly excited for this year, as the past 12 months have seen the release of our In-Room App, several new features like Live Chat, Chatbot and Housekeeping and many enhancements including comprehensive payments and billing, new integrations and much more.
This year, our Self-Service Kiosk generated a lot of interest, with our Australian partners Vintech seeing the same trend. Our all-in-one kiosk offers a simplified self-service option that operators are looking for to streamline their arrival and departure for guests.

Feedback from exhibitors and reports from NoVacancy organisers were that the expo was busier than previous years (24% more attendees to be exact), with attendees ready to make big decisions about their guest experience after tackling big projects like upgrading door locks.
A big topic of discussion at the expo was artificial intelligence and the impact AI is currently having and will have in the future on accommodation. Technology suppliers are already making the most of this new technology with solutions that embrace the advantages of AI to help operators elevate their guest experience through solutions like Chatbots (us included!).
